If I don't allow 2:49:04 PM firefox.exe TCP adsvr.adknowledge.com 8000 Block Once - - then I will immediately receive a port scan from adknowledge.com and will effectively shut down my browser due to Outposts attack detection setting to block intruder (I will have to disable the feature or allow the ad) - BUT then it will go as far as this!! (using other IP's to mask?) for instance techzonez does not even use adknowledge.com - yet, somehow adknowlege is using the name to mask a port scan.

Allow once = popups repeatedly asking for permission - everytime you refresh - Deny or close rule = instant port scan

Not sure this would help but its a thought you could add adknowledge.com to your hosts file and have it resolve to 127.0.0.1 Thats what I did with easywarez and some other sites cause they kept on hitting me once i tried to connect to them.
