I just installed Spam Terrier and have multiple profiles using OE 6. However all that seems to be downloaded are headers - there is no body text with any email - neither before nor after the mail is processed and found to be spam or not. Where's the body text?

Is there an option to download only headers initilly or the body text only for Not Spam after being processed?

My OE6 settings are still...Tools > Options > Read 'Automatically download messages in pane view' although that shouldn't be over-ridden I doubt.

I have performed a complete system restore - same problem! I also uninstalled and reinstall IE - same problem except if I log out of OE and back I can see the email body text in that profile, but a profile switch results in no body text - this has really fvcked up our email system for 4 people. No wonder Spam Terrier is free!

Here's a followup that took me a few hours to work out - it is a workaround not the solution I was looking for as by default I still can't see pane bodytext, but hopefully this will help someone else who doesn't have hours to spend to read important mail.

After Googling a while, I read on one site that the pane is one way to get a virus without even clicking so its a good practice to only have it display plain text rather than html etc.

So to switch to plain text only (in OE) go to Tools > Options > Read [tab] and check the "Read all messages in plain text" and your body text appears.

I'm guessing that Spam Terrier disabled html in the pane, but I uninstalled it and it doesn't defaut to back on nor do I see where to turn it back on... but the above solution works just fine and if it stops a virus all the better.
