Can anybody tell me what application to use to view Outpost .LOG files? Many thanx,
Dave
Notepad will work fine. However, most of the log information you need is displayed in the right panel of the Outpost interface. Highlight Blocked on the left and on the right is the blocked log.

Hi,
I think he meant to view the files in the agnitum directory directly. These files look wuite weird. You must export the logfiles and then you can use whatever editor you like.

Hi, thanks for the fast response. The reason I am inquiring is that someone hacked into my computer two nights ago when I was on-line. They sent some weird sound effects to my sound card. When I disconnected my dial-up connection from the internet, the sounds stopped immediately.
In the Attack Detection window a series of URLs appeared including some which were not traceable through visualTrace. They went back as far as my ISP then stopped. The next day, I tried to retrieve the Info from the Attack Detection window, but it was blank. I want to call my ISP and report this.
Is there any way to retrieve this info?
I am running 1.0.1511.1038
Many thanks,
Dave
When I go to the logs, all I have to do is double click them and they open in Notepad. The logs there will retain information for as long as you have selected in the settings.
If you cannot open and read say, firewall.log or protect.log, let me know.

When I look at the LOG files in the outpost dir they look binary to me. I need to export them before I can read them.
I found out, I could read them like that because I have the debug module installed.

Can I get or install the debug module? It would be handy for me to have the log files in plaintext...
