It's a shame I was just reading through the latest firmwre upgrade release notes and it says that they have removed support for Stateful Packet Inspection (they claim it improves stability). So unless you are on AOL Cable or DSL and must really have the parental control features I wouldn't upgrade the firmware.

Hi Mega,
I never went past 1.42.6
Well I did but it only stealthed 1 item at PCFlank. When I went back to my current version, I stealth 3 items.
However as I have written in other threads LinkSys isn't in a hurry to fix it. Since when I bypass the router OutPost stealths everything, I am quite happy :)

chris,
I agree wholeheartedly with you. I just wanted to make others aware of what I had read since a lot of people do not always read the what's changed section very closely. I know in most cases I don't but I learned the hard way with linksys that they like to change things unexpectedly. I remember patiently waiting for them to implement SPI in the firmware. I am guessing they couldn't get it (SPI) to work right with the AOL stuff so to make their life easier they took it out.

Hi
I haven't had SPI enabled since it was first offered.
I had seen to many opinions that it didn't work.
Stayed with 1.42.6 like Chris. Also a dummy IP in the dmz. :)
Regards
