Hi MegaHertz.

Got PM V8 and use it. I also have Drive Image 2002. Partition Magic comes with Boot Magic. With that, you can easily set your system up to boot off of 1, 2, 3, 4,.....etc operating systems. That is, as long as you have hard drive space.

PM 7 saved my butt when redhat's disk druid overwrote the partition info on my second drive. Thought I had lost over 20 Gig of MP3's. Looks like they added some really nice features.

I couldn't agree more especially Drive Image.

I started dual booting NT4 & W95 with PM4.

A must have to save you from ulcers.:)

Hi folks,

I had a friend who was doing an upgrade from Windows 98SE to Windows 2000. He had decided to convert his file system to NTFS during the upgrade. But, at one point the installation of 2000 went bad and the entire system locked up after the whole file system had been converted to NTFS. And, since NTFS cannot be read from DOS and he had no backups of his data, it was gone. I had him bring his hard drive to my house and I used Partition Magic to convert the file system back from NTFS to FAT32 which allowed us to recover his data and back it up to CD. It was funny because he told me that his wife advised him that dire consequences awaited unless he got that data back. He had important family information, photos, and parts or a church newsletter on that PC. Needless to say, he was very thankful that it worked. The PowerQuest products truly are "must have" products and are truly worth their price when you need them. :)
