View Full Version : quick launch icons disappear

Hi folks,
I've been having trouble for about a week and a half with my quick launch icons disappearing, of which Outpost (free) is one. When I connect to the internet and start Mozilla 1.0 all of my quick launch icons disappear, once in a while. When I close Mozilla and disconnect and exit and shutdown OP they reappear. I tried booting into safe mode and back into normal mode to rebuild the shelliconcache but it still happens. Compaq Presario 5005R Windows ME 512mb RAM. Thanks for any advice. :)

Since this is not an Outpost problem, it needs to go to chit chat..
I have Mozilla and haven't had any problems like that, so I really wouldn't know where to start.

That's fine to move it. Sorry if I posted in the wrong forum. I just thought since when I exit and shutdown OP the icons reappear it might be a known problem or something even though I did't find it though search, thought I might have worded the search wrong or something. Thanks! :)

I played around with the taskbar properties and display properties>effects. Changed them around and applied and changed them back and rebooted, so far so good. If anyone else has this problem maybe this will help. Thanks.
