Question for those using Opera 6.05

i know alot of the members here use Opera 6.05,so i'm hoping that someone can advise me...just recently my Opera browser has been refusing to download the entire page. it get's to about 80-90% then hangs FOREVER . seems to have trouble completing the download of images,text works fine. my IE6 is working fine with images. don't know what to adjust in the prefs for Opera to fix this. i have tried ALL the prefs...to NO avail. thanks to any respondents.;)

Hey Aaronn,

I use Opera 6.05 and have had the same problem in the past. I just removed and reinstalled it. It worked fine then. Can't say this is your problem but it's a start. :D

Kazzi,i have been contemplating that option,but i'm SO TIRED of reinstalling programs/software that are not performing as expected that i think if things don't improve with Opera soon i'm just gonna ditch it.

Hey Aaronn,

If you are looking for a neat browser, much has been discussed on these forums - try Mozilla. I got that as well as Opera. Personally I prefer Mozilla which is Netscape based but noticeably. The latest Netscape doesn't seem to be getting good results as it stands.

i used mozilla for a few weeks earlier this year and was not happy with it. it just didn't suit my temperament! lol

I have just downloaded Avant Browser 6.5 http://www.avantbrowser.com/

Haven't had time to get to know it yet - it works on M$ Explorer. The developers say it is quick. You may want to look at it.
