Sharp Europe has created a 3D TFT Display capable of switching between traditional 2D (as TFTs are now) and 3D.
The thin film transistors are split in to rods (vert.) and these rods are then bent along the vert. to an angle projecting light in different directions creating a 3D image without need of glasses.
FPS's will never be the same again, it will give Duke 'Nukem 3D new meaning :)
