Hi,

I have loaded many block rules with a tool I found on the internet (blocklist manager is the name I think), so it created plenty of blocking rules.

I then import those rules into blockpost, and then I'm unable to access Internet. Am I doing something wrong?

I have noticed in those rules there are rules with an IP that looks like my local IP, so is this why it blocks my internet access?

Any suggestion?

Thanks

"an IP that looks like my local IP"
That's your reason why.
Remove this IP and try again.
Otherwise, move your browser exe file to the trusted zone.
(for AOL this WAOL.exe)

Never put the browser in trusted zone.
Just delete the browser from the app list, empty all caches, restart Outpost, restart the browser and select the browser preset at rule prompt.

Chris

Use Rules Wizard after removing your browser from the Trusted Applications Zone to get the Pop Up. Then you can allow it to create a New Rule for it.

If you put your Browser or any other Application in Trusted Application Zone it can access the Internet with out any rules for it.

Hi,

Oh s-word, I didn't know that.

Then what rules do you recommend for waol.exe then?
