Auto-learn will still ask you a few questions when it's not sure exactly what's needed and decides that you are in a better position to make the decision. Still, with well know programs - and there are thousands listed in ImproveNet - these dialogs are really minimal with auto-learn. As nice as it is, though, it's something to be used only on a clean PC for a limited time since automatic and security clashes as a concept. The new SmartDecision functionality may extend that time period a bit more but we are all still getting up to speed on how that works.

I have a question about loopback. The RC is not intercepting loopback, as programs were going right through AntiVir's WebGuard. I tested it with GRC.com's LeakTest. Any way to fix this?

mvdu, I get a prompt when I run leaktest.exe and I press block once and it fails. Is this an interoperability problem with WebGuard and Outpost? What happens if you disable WebGuard?

Without WebGuard it seems to work fine. Maybe a proxy issue, then? Never had this problem with previous versions of Outpost, so many one of the Outpost preferences can be changed?

I don't know. Why don't you export your config and then start a fresh one?

Since RC2 is now available, please finalize your discussion with RC1 since this thread is coming to a close.

I might wait to see if RC 2 has the same issue.
