Plugins For Outpost Version 4.0/Outpost Security Suite 2007

Since there seems to be some confusion as to the whereabouts for the plugins for Outpost 4.0 in the Forum I have decided to place them in this thread for users to download. These should work with all versions of Outpost 4.0 and Outpost Security Suite 2007.

Please see attached zip files for TrafLED, HTTPLog and Superstealth Plugins. [NOTE: The Superstealth plugin is now regarded as generally outdated due to Outpost's Attack Detection Plugin and it has also been reported that it may not function properly].

The latest version of the Blockpost plugin can always be found in the last post in Fazion's Blockpost Forum in his Blockpost plug-in ("Untrusted Zone") for OP v3.5x/OP v4.0/OSS 2007 thread.


Installation:

• Disconnect from the Internet, disable Outpost's Self-Protection and shut down Outpost;
• Extract the files into the Outpost program folder; ensuring that the "Use Folders" option in your extractor is enabled. [Users may like to create appropriate plugin directories for each plugin in the Plugins directory for completeness].
• Enable Outpost, select Options/Plug-ins Setup/Add, go to the folder (Blockpost, HTTPLog, etc), highlight the .ofp file and click Open; the plugin should then be listed in the left-hand pane of Outpost's main window, adjust its properties and check that it works.
• If enabled, TrafLED and Blockpost (if selected in properties) plugins will show in the systray menu. HTTPLog, Superstealth plugins are not designed to show here, but can be viewed in Outpost's main GUI.
• Re-enable Outpost's Self Protection if desired, and reconnect to the Internet.

Please post any feedback or problems in the relevant plugin forum. Also note that users coming from the link from Agnitum's main website or are users browsing the Outpost Users Forum need to Register in the Outpost Users Support Forum in order to download the plugin files.


Plugins For Outpost 3.5:

Users looking for plugins for Outpost 3.5 can find them in the Updated plugins for Outpost 3.5 thread. These plugins use a different SDK and WILL NOT WORK with version 4.0/OSS 2007.


Plugins For Outpost Firewall/Security Suite 2009:

NOTE: There are no 3rd party plugins available for the 2009 range. Some of the plugins, ie IP Blocklist [BlockPost] and HTTPLog have already been incorporated by Agnitum into the 2009 products. But they are not as advanced in terms of functionality (as yet) compared to the original third party plugins they are replacing. Expect this to improve as each new 2009 product is updated.
