Speeding up GameSpy

Bottom

Are you a gamer? Do you use GameSpy Arcade? One of the things that slows down your gaming is GameSpy running in the background downloading ads ready to show you when you leave your game.

Is there an easy way to fix this? You bet! It's legal, quick and easy, and best of all you get no more ads in GameSpy Arcade! No more banners at the bottom of the GameSpy window, no more GameSpy Daily and best of all no more tabbed messages form 'Our sponsors'.

How is this miracle to be achieved without registering GameSpy?

Its simple really, just put Internet Explorer into offline mode and clear IEs browser cache. Then start GameSpy arcade, you will get presented with a window like this:

[Offline warning popup]

Always say 'Stay offline' whenever this window pops up and you can say goodbye to GameSpy Ads, you can still use GameSpy and get and update server lists.

Clearing Interner Explorers Cache

To clear IEs cache click on the Start button and navigate to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel. When the Control Panel appears double click on the Internet Options icon.
